once in history class we were watching a movie about the history of the lgbtqai+ movement here in sweden and it basically started out with them trying to be as nice as possible to straight people but, unsurprisingly, that didn’t accomplish much
so they changed their tactics to “FUCK YOU I’M HERE I’M QUEER DEAL WITH IT” and got way more aggressive in reactions to homophobia and SUDDENLY WE STARTED SEEING CHANGES AND GETTING SHIT DONE WHAT A FUCKING SHOCKER
so yeah fuck y’all who think we should just be fucking passive it has been proven that your shitty-ass methods do not fucking work
